Akshrita Balaji

Akshrita Balaji is a Finance major at Rutgers Business School with a minor in Political Science. She is a member of the Rutgers Undergraduate Law Review and the Rutgers Pre-Law Society, where she explores her interests at the intersection of law, policy, and business. Currently, Akshrita is a legal intern at the Law Office of Craig Rothenberg, a New Jersey-based firm specializing in personal injury law, real estate law, and employment law. In her role, she conducts legal research to support case preparation, providing insights on statutes and case law. She also reviews and analyzes case evidence while working directly with clients to identify and curate relevant materials. Aspiring to become a corporate lawyer, Akshrita is particularly passionate about increasing civic engagement among young people. She recognizes the significant disparity in youth participation in legal discussions and hopes to contribute to bridging this gap through this program. Through her legal career, she aims to advocate for greater accessibility and representation in civic and corporate spaces alike.
