Our Team
Alejandra Afanador is a sophomore at Honors College of Rutgers University–New Brunswick, majoring in Political Science with minors in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) and Psychology. Passionate about law, governance, and civic engagement, she is deeply involved in campus leadership and advocacy. Alejandra serves as an RU Voting Ambassador with the Eagleton Institute of Politics, promoting voter registration and engagement. Through the Darien Civic Engagement Project, she hopes to expand civic education initiatives and advocate for equitable political participation at the high school level. Outside of Eagleton, Alejandra is heavily involved on campus including positions such as the Founding President of BridgeRutgers–fostering constructive political dialogue–Political Chair for the Latino Student Council, Secretary for the Latin American Student Organization, DEI Department Director for the Rutgers University Student Assembly, and general membership in the Pre-Law Societies and Undergraduate Law Review.
