Our Team
Raisa Rubin-Stankiewicz (she/her) is a rising junior in the School of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Psychology. She serves as the State Policy Advocate for March for Our Lives New Jersey, leading a youth policy team and helping pass the 2022 Gun Safety Package 3.0 and related gun violence prevention policies in the state. She also is a Lloyd Gardner Fellow this year, where she is conducting independent research on peer respite centers in New Jersey, an alternative option to hospitalization for people in mental health crisis. She previously served as a board member for the racial justice organization Not in Our Town Princeton and as a youth advisor for Vote16USA, a national organization advocating for lowering the voting age to 16. She is very passionate about issues of expanding youth rights, voting rights, disability justice, restorative justice, and decarceration.
