The Legislature consists of two chambers: a 20-member Senate and a 40-member House of Representatives. The most recent election for the state legislature was on November 6, 2018. The Alaska State Legislature maintains age requirements for candidacy; Senate: 25 years of age, House: 21 years of age.
Alaska Demographic Background
The largest generations in Alaska are the Millennial Generation and the Baby Boomer Generation, each consisting of about 25% of the population.
