Aljona Casingal

Aljona Casingal is currently an undergraduate sophomore studying at Rutgers University – New Brunswick with a major in Biotechnology and a minor in Computer Science. Post-graduation, Aljona hopes to work towards increasing accessibility to healthcare and healthcare information via UI/UX design. Outside of the classroom, Aljona is a member of Haru Dance and Verse One, two dance teams/clubs on campus. Video editing is another hobby she invests most of her leisure time towards, having made lifestyle vlogs pertaining to her everyday life in previous years. Now as a digital content creator at the Eagleton Institute of Politics, Aljona will use her online presence and opportunity on such a platform to advocate for civic engagement and the heightened need to increase news accessibility to larger groups of individuals.
