Our Team
Azinwi Numfor is a sophomore majoring in Public Policy and Political Science with a minor in law and history and women’s and gender studies. She is a member of the Fellows in Racial Justice Learning Community where she deepens her understanding of systemic inequalities and collaborates with peers and mentors to formulate strategies that address educational disparities. In addition, she is involved with the Rutgers NAACP organization as a member of the education committee. By participating in the Darien Civic Engagement Project, she hopes to foster a sense of civic responsibility and awareness among the youth, encouraging them to become not just informed voters but also the necessary tools and confidence to actively participate in their communities.
