Gil Shenoy

Gil Shenoy is a freshman at Rutgers University, majoring in biochemistry and on a pre-med track, with a possible minor in political science. He participates on campus in several activities, including Water Polo and Network 8. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, hiking, photography, and cooking. Gil is passionate about politics and has stayed involved for the last few years. This fall, he participated in the Darien Civic Engagement project, helping to register and mobilize voters. Through this experience, he realized the importance of social involvement and participation in helping people understand what is happening in government and what they can do to effect change. As a digital content creator, he hopes to do just that, informing his fellow students and encouraging them to engage politically.
