Madilyn Varnum

Madilyn Varnum is a sophomore at Rutgers University studying Finance with minors in Cinema Studies and Gender & Media. She is a member of the Swimming & Diving team, specializing in springboard diving in the 1m and 3m events. She has represented Rutgers at Big 10 Championships, NCAA Zone A Championships, and USA Diving Nationals. Madilyn is originally from Davidson, NC and enjoys watching movies and TV shows (especially Glee), writing, and photography in her free time. She joined the team at CYPP in order to improve awareness within Gen Z about the importance of active citizenship in a creative fashion that allows her to further develop her skills in videography. As a Digital Content Creator, Madilyn hopes to create engaging, impactful content that helps to ignite a passion for political participation within young adults in the Rutgers community and beyond.
