Our Team
Perla Cordero Mariano is a sophomore majoring in Political Science and minoring in Public Policy, with the goal of attending law school after graduation. She is a part of the Finance Committee for the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA), the Fundraising Chair intern for the Sociedad Estudiantil Dominicana (SED), and a member of the Latinx Pre-Law Society. Through her participation in the Darien Civic Engagement Project, Perla hopes to foster political interest amongst youth by helping students feel sufficiently informed and motivated to actively participate in civic activities.
