Sophia Alexis

Sophia Alexis is a master’s student at Rutger’s School of Social Work. As the Center for Youth Political Participation’s graduate assistant, Sophia will assist with the implementation of RU Ready and RU Voting programs in hopes to activate the Rutgers campus community to see themselves as a part of the political process. She is devoted to community activism and education, especially as a tool to address power-based personal violence. Sophia obtained her B.A. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology in 2023 from The College of New Jersey, where she interned with the Anti-Violence Initiatives, volunteered with the AmIOK program, and was inducted into the Blue and Gold Hall of Fame.
