Tatiana Sarmiento

Tatiana Sarmiento is a sophomore double majoring in Criminal Justice and Public Policy with aspirations to go to law school. In addition to being a part of the Darien Civic Engagement Project, Tatiana is involved with organizations on campus such as the Latinx Pre Law Society, Colombian American Student Association, Aresty Research Program, Honors College Ambassadors, and the Honors College Latinx Affinity Group. Outside of these academic organizations, she is also a part of the Marching Scarlet Knights. Tatiana hopes to share the importance of understanding civics, highlighting the importance of voting, and being politically active at a young age.
