Topher Abacan

Topher is a Senior at Rutgers University-Camden pursuing dual Majors in Political Science and Philosophy with a Minor in Legal Studies. He is proud to serve as the Secretary of the Student Governing Association, in addition to President of the Political Science Society and Treasurer of the RUC Cricket Club. Additionally, he is starting his third year as a Student Mentor for Rutgers Future Scholars in Camden, where he works to ensure that older high school students are well-prepared for college. This experience inspired him to work with civic engagement as a Digital Content Creator with hopes to give students the power to use their voices. He also had the honor of being part of RSSI’s Summer 2025 cohort, serving as an Immigration Intern in the District Office of Congresswoman Bonnie Watson-Coleman (where he met another member of the CYPP team!)
