Bio
State Rep. Caleb Hanna (age 22) is one of the youngest African Americans to be elected to a state legislature in the United States. He is currently serving his second term representing West Virginia’s 44th District. He was first elected in 2018 at the age of 19 and won the general election with 60.3% of the votes. He is currently a full-time student at West Virginia State University. In the legislature, Hanna chairs the select committee on minority issues and is an Assistant Majority Whip.
