Non-profit Founder

Bio

Leanne Joyce (age 22) is the founder and president of Positive Impact for Kids, a non-profit that raises funds and awareness to help hospitals better meet the physical and emotional needs of pediatric patients. Once a nationally ranked jump-roper, Joyce was told by cardiologists at age 12 to immediately stop competing due to a heart condition. This inspired Joyce to found Positive Impact for Kids, which has raised over $160,000 and has partnered with hospitals in every state to provide them with tools for the education and socialization of their younger patients. The organization regularly hosts events to raise money and awareness and collaborates with healthcare and corporate partners in their mission. Joyce is currently a senior at Furman University.
