Isabella Burke

Isabella Burke will enter her senior year at Rutgers University, majoring in Journalism and Media Studies with a minor in Entrepreneurship. On campus, she is a news desk writer for The Daily Targum and a member of JBiz. Isabella currently interns at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the New Jersey State House. She is thrilled to be a Digital Content Creator for CYPP to help make civic education engaging and accessible to students. Through this internship, she hopes to expand her digital storytelling skills and learn how to use media to drive political participation among young voters. Isabella dreams of being a political influence for positive change and becoming involved in global media as an avid traveler. Isabella has a background in the performing arts. In her free time, she enjoys art museums and Broadway shows. After graduation, she aspires to a career in communications with a focus on political and global reporting.
