George Quinn

Lead Graduate Assistant

George Quinn serves as the lead graduate assistant for the Young Elected Leaders Project. Joining the project in 2022, George will be responsible for data management and research development for the Eagleton—Young Elected Leaders Project (YELP). George is a PhD student in Political Science focusing on American Voter Behavior and Statistical Methodology at Rutgers University. He is interested in studying age as a barrier to candidate emergence at the state and local levels. Furthermore, George has worked to develop research on age as an influencing factor in voter decision-making.

As a public opinion researcher, George has managed several projects researching generative artificial intelligence (AI) and has presented his research at various national venues. Recent works include utilizing generative AI modeling to classify open-ended text responses. George received his B.A. in Political Science from Stockton University in 2022, where he served as chair of the campus political science honors society (Pi Sigma Alpha) and as a teaching assistant for political statistics/methodology.
